Meta certification, called Official Business Account, shows a blue checkmark next to your business name on WhatsApp. It is optional: you do not need it to use Kanal or to raise your sending limits.
Meta's criteria
To submit a request, your number must meet the following conditions:
Your business complies with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
Your business has been registered on the WhatsApp Business Platform for at least 30 days.
The business portfolio (Business Manager) that owns the number is verified: Verify your Business Manager account on Meta.
Two-step verification is enabled on the number.
The number's display name is approved: My WhatsApp display name was rejected.
Submit the request
In Kanal, click your team name to open the workspace menu, then Settings.
Open WhatsApp Profiles, then click Go to Meta.
In the WhatsApp Manager, enable two-step verification on the number if it is not already on.
In the number's Profile tab, under Official business account, click Submit request.
Fill in the form. You can add links that present your brand, such as press articles.
After the request
Timing: Meta notifies you of its decision once the request has been reviewed. No timeframe is guaranteed. Check your email, your Business Manager notifications, and your number's Profile tab.
If rejected: you must wait 30 days before submitting a new request.
Once certified: you can no longer change your display name freely; changes go through Meta support.
