Analyze an automation's performance

Revenue, ROAS, funnel and orders of an automation, statistics export and attribution rules.

Kanal measures the revenue each automation generates and what it costs, so you can see which flows pay off.

In the automation list

The Attributed revenue column shows the revenue attributed to each automation over the last 30 days, with its trend. The Times triggered column shows how many times the flow has started. You can filter the list by trigger, status and period.

The Performance page

Open an automation, then its Performance page. For the selected period, it shows:

  • Revenue: the amount of the orders attributed to the flow.

  • Orders: the number of orders attributed to the flow.

  • Conversion rate.

  • Cost: the cost of the messages sent by the flow, all billed message types included.

  • ROAS: revenue divided by cost. A ROAS of 20 means each euro spent on messages brought in 20 euros.

  • Revenue per recipient: the average revenue per contact who received the flow.

  • Funnel: how contacts progress through the flow, up to the order.

  • Trend: how results change over the period.

Export the statistics

Export the automation's statistics as an Excel file (.xlsx) to work on them or share them.

How revenue is attributed

  • An order is attributed to the last Kanal message the customer received before ordering, if the order falls within the attribution window. Each order has a single origin: a campaign, an automation, the AI Agent or a human conversation.

  • The attribution basis (message delivered, read or clicked) and the window (from 12 hours to 5 days, 5 days by default) are set in Settings > Attribution. To get there, click your team name, then Settings.

  • Figures can take up to 30 minutes to update.
