Version history
Kanal automatically saves the versions of each automation in the editor's Version history.
A version is saved per person for each 5-minute window of changes.
Versions are kept for 6 months.
You can restore a previous version to undo changes.
Duplicate an automation
Duplicate creates a copy of the automation. You can change the trigger of the copy, for example to reuse a Post-purchase flow with an Incoming webhook trigger. Check the copy before activating it: some data offered by the original trigger (order variables, Shopify conditions) may no longer apply with the new trigger.
Duplicate and translate with AI
To adapt a flow to another language without rewriting it:
In the editor, select the nodes to translate.
Choose Duplicate and translate, then the target language.
The AI creates a translated copy of the nodes, as drafts.
Review the texts, then connect the new nodes to your flow, for example behind a "Phone number country" condition.
Translated templates must be approved by Meta before they can be sent.
