Kanal supports the MCP (Model Context Protocol). In practice, you can query your Kanal account directly from your AI assistant, in natural language, without opening the app.
What is MCP?
MCP is a standard that lets an AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) connect to an external tool. Once Kanal is connected, your assistant accesses your data and can answer with the real context of your account.
What you can do
The connector gives read access to all your Kanal data:
Statistics: ROAS, attributed revenue, read rate, click rate, performance per campaign or per template.
Conversations: read WhatsApp exchanges with your customers, search the history, summarize recurring requests.
Contacts, lists and segments: view your database, opt-in statuses and the composition of your segments.
Campaigns and automations: view their configuration and results.
The connector also lets you create segments directly from your assistant, based on the criteria you describe.
Supported tools
The connector works with the main AI assistants: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
Connecting MCP
In your Kanal interface, go to Settings then to the MCP section.
Select the AI assistant you want to connect Kanal to.
Follow the connection instructions displayed for that assistant.
Once the connection is confirmed, your assistant shows the accessible Kanal data.
Example requests
Once connected, you can write to your assistant:
"What is the ROAS of my campaigns over the last 7 days?"
"Summarize my customers' most frequent questions this week."
"How many contacts are in my VIP segment?"
"Create a segment of customers who ordered at least twice in the last 90 days."
Good to know
Your connection is private and specific to your account.
You can disconnect MCP at any time from the same section of your settings.
Need help?
If the connection fails or your assistant cannot see your data, contact our team via the chat in your Kanal interface.
